In the first scene of the episode, Loki time-slippes to immediately before radiation murdered Victor Timely when he was attempting to repair the Temporal Loom. Through OB, Loki is able to discover that if they had been allowed to try the solution earlier, the Temporal Loom may have been repaired. After then, Loki repeatedly goes backwards till he spends centuries studying OB’s engineering and functions to understand everything there is to know about the Loom. Timely is finally able to inject the correction into the Temporal Loom so that it is capable of accounting for the branching timelines, after what seems like an endless number of fruitless attempts.

Although it seems to be successful at first, the timelines soon begin to branch forever, which causes the Loom to overflow once more and makes it impossible to stop the Loom’s collapse. Loki makes the decision to travel back even farther, to the point at which Sylvie murdered He Who Remains at the conclusion of the first season. His attempts to stop her keep failing until the Kang variation himself stops her. He tells Loki that the Loom is intended to serve as a backup to make sure that, in the unlikely event that the holy timeline is destroyed, all timelines outside of it are deleted.

With no other option and this discovery, Loki appears to have only one option to resolve the problematic situation: kill Sylvie. Due to the decision, Loki is forced to revisit his initial encounter with Mobius from season one, and the two have a deep discussion about burdens—both their need and the potential costs. After that, Loki travels back in time to talk to Sylvie and informs her that the only thing he can think of to solve her problem is to killing her.But something in Loki is sparked by her disobedience, and he later returns to the moment when Timely opened the Temporal Loom. Without thinking, Loki leaves Timely’s location without a suit and appears to be about to die. Rather of letting the Loom overwhelm and kill the TVA and the young branches, he dons his heavenly garb and destroys the Loom. The universe then takes the form of Yggdrasil, the World Tree, with Loki at its center, and he collects the withering branches and takes his “throne” in place of He Who Remains as a real deity and new weaver of time.

2.Review:

The entire episode features Tom Hiddleston’s depiction of Loki in its entirety. With a faultless portrayal, the actor lets the audience fall in love with the god of mischief. He’s able to set a lighter tone for the show at the outset, matching the absurdity of his time-slipping. But as the episode goes on and Loki’s situation gets worse, boredom does start to set in. Despite the fact that the other members of the cast do a fantastic job in their various parts, the episode is ultimately a glorious showcase for Hiddleston. Though some viewers may experience whiplash from the episode’s frenetic start, it settles down quickly following a fast-paced sequence of events leading up to its final showdown in the Temporal Loom.

3.Ending Explained:

The conclusion lays the foundation for what will happen in the MCU now that the god of mischief has stabilized the multiverse. As the TVA continues to keep an eye on the ever-expanding branches, particularly for Kang variations, Loki now finds himself in the role of time weaver, supervising them. Given his newfound prominence, Loki seems to be more powerful than he has ever been, functioning as the multiversal tree’s central figure. It could allow the deity amid the timelines to get away with some fresh mischievous deeds, but it’s unclear if his evil version is still in him or if he can control himself better in the future.
