The second chapter of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is here and it’s packed with action, character development, and a hint of the power of Boruto Uzumaki. In this article, we’ll take a look at the events of the chapter, the characters that were featured, and the implications of Boruto’s new jutsu.

1. The 10 Tails and the Grimes:

The chapter starts off with the 10 Tails and its army of Grimes attacking Konoha. The Grimes are powerful creatures created from the 10 Tails and they pose a serious threat to the village. In order to combat them, the strongest shinobi of Konoha are mobilized, including Kawaki and the Ino-Shika-Cho Trio.

Kawaki is able to take on several Grimes at once, showing off his strength and skill. The Ino-Shika-Cho Trio also get some panel time, which is always great to see. We also learn more about the Grimes, such as the fact that their power levels vary and some of them possess powerful Kekkei Genkai, such as the Rinnegan.

2. Boruto and Sarada Reunite:

The chapter also focuses on the reunion between Boruto and Sarada, highlighting their strained relationship and the potential for future character development. Boruto is cold towards Sarada, not even looking in her direction, which shows his focus on the task at hand. However, he still shows care for her, asking her to survive so that they can catch up later. Sarada then joins the battle, using her Chidori and Fireball jutsu to take out two Grimes at once.

3. Code’s Plan:

The meaty part of the chapter comes when Boruto and Code have a conversation. Code reveals his plan to use the Ten Tails to create a God Tree and ultimately destroy the world. Boruto threatens Code to surrender and help him, or else he will be killed. Code calls his bluff, leading to an inevitable confrontation between the two.

4. Boruto’s New Jutsu:

The chapter ends with Boruto demonstrating a new jutsu called Rasengan: Uzuhiko. This jutsu appears to be invisible, hinting at the usage of Lightning Release. What exactly this jutsu is and how Boruto created it is something that the fans do not know yet. However, it appears that the fight between Boruto and Code will begin in the next chapter and we will get to see the true power of Rasengan: Uzuhiko.
