The Final Season paints a daringly nuanced and morally ambiguous picture to strike at the unnecessary cruelties of war and prejudice.

The final episode of Attack on Titan begins with a flashback to Eren and Armin’s childhood, when they dreamed of seeing the ocean and the outside world. Eren tells Armin that he wants to explore the world beyond the walls, and that he will always be with him. The scene then shifts to the present, where Eren has activated the Rumbling, unleashing millions of colossal titans to trample the world and wipe out humanity, except for the people of Paradis Island. Eren’s former friends and comrades, the Survey Corps, have allied with the warriors of Marley and other nations to stop Eren and end the cycle of hatred and violence. They manage to reach Eren’s location, where he has fused with the Founding Titan, a massive skeletal creature that controls the Rumbling. They face a fierce battle against the Yeagerists, Eren’s loyal followers, and the Beast Titan, controlled by Eren’s half-brother Zeke. The episode also shows the perspectives of various characters around the world, who witness the horror of the Rumbling and pray for a miracle.

2.Explain:

The episode reveals some of the mysteries and secrets of the series, such as the origin of the titans, the fate of Ymir, the first titan, and the true nature of Eren’s plan. It is revealed that the titans are the result of a deal that Ymir made with a mysterious entity, possibly the Devil, 2000 years ago. She gained the power of the titans, but was enslaved by the king of Eldia, who used her to conquer the world and father his children. After her death, her soul was split into nine titan powers, which were inherited by her descendants. Ymir was also trapped in a realm called the Paths, where she was forced to create and connect all the titans. Eren was able to access the Paths through his royal blood, and convinced Ymir to join him in his plan to end the world and free her from her bondage. Eren also revealed that he was the one who influenced his father, Grisha, to kill the Reiss family and steal the Founding Titan, and that he was the one who sent Dina Fritz, the Smiling Titan, to kill his mother, Carla. Eren claimed that he did all this to ensure his own freedom and the freedom of his friends, even if it meant destroying everything else. He did all of this to make his friends heroes by killing Eren. That was the main plan of Eren.

The episode reaches its climax when Armin, who has inherited the Colossal Titan, confronts Eren in the Paths. Armin tries to reason with Eren, reminding him of their friendship and their dreams. Eren admits that he does not know why he started the Rumbling, and that he does not want to die. He also confesses that he loves Mikasa, childhood friend, and that he wants her to be happy. However, he says that he cannot stop the Rumbling, and that he has to keep moving forward. Armin then transforms into the Colossal Titan, and detonates a massive explosion that destroys Eren’s body and the Founding Titan. The blast also frees Ymir from the Paths, and causes all the titans around the world to crumble into dust, ending the curse of the titans. The surviving members of the Survey Corps and the warriors rejoice, and mourn the loss of their fallen comrades. They also find Eren’s severed head, which is still alive, and hear his voice in their minds. Eren apologizes to them, and thanks them for trying to stop him. He also reveals that he used his power to alter their memories, and that he has a final message for them.

Armin has become an ambassador of peace, and tries to negotiate with the world. Mikasa has retired from the military, and lives near the grave of Eren, where she keeps his scarf. Levi has survived his injuries, and leads a group of former soldiers who protect the forest where the Beast Titan’s spinal fluid was harvested. Jean, Connie, and Sasha’s family have settled down and started families of their own. Historia has given birth to a daughter, who is named Ymir, after her friend and lover. Annie has reunited with her father, and lives with him in a coastal town. Reiner has overcome his depression, and mentors the new generation of warriors. Gabi and Falco have joined the Survey Corps, and have inherited the Jaw and the Cart Titans, respectively. The scene ends with a bird, possibly Eren’s spirit, flying over the world, and landing on Mikasa’s hand. The bird wraps Eren’s scarf around Mikasa’s neck, and flies away, leaving a feather behind. Mikasa smiles, and says “See you later, Eren.”

The episode ends with a post credit scene, which shows the aftermath of the Rumbling, three years later. The scene depicts a meeting between the representatives of the surviving nations and the people of Paradis Island, who have formed a new government. The meeting is tense, as the world still fears and hates Paradis, and demands reparations and disarmament. However, the people of Paradis refuse to comply, and declare that they are ready to defend themselves if attacked.

Then the scene shifts to the island becoming a jungle, and we see a kid and his dog going to that tree where everything started, where Eren’s grave was, and Ymir’s getting her titan powers. That tease that there can be a new series can happen.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 Episode 2 is a fitting and satisfying conclusion to one of the most popular and influential anime series of all time. The episode delivers on the promises of the previous seasons, and wraps up the story with a balance of action, drama, emotion, and mystery. The animation and the music are stunning, and the voice acting is superb. The episode also pays tribute to the characters and the themes of the series, and offers a message of hope and peace in the face of despair and war. The episode does not shy away from the complexity and the controversy of the story, and leaves some questions unanswered, allowing the viewers to interpret and debate the meaning and the morality of Eren’s actions and the fate of the world. The episode also leaves room for a possible sequel or a spin-off, as the conflict between Paradis and the world is not fully resolved, and the power of the titans still exists. The ending of Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 Episode 2: The End of the World may be disappointing for some fans who expected a different outcome or a more satisfying resolution. Some of the possible reasons why the ending sucks are:

1. The ending is too ambiguous and leaves many questions unanswered, such as the fate of Paradis and the world, the meaning of the bird and the feather, and the role of the mysterious entity that gave Ymir the power of the titans. Some fans may feel that the ending does not provide enough closure or explanation for the complex and intricate story that the series has built up over the years.

2. The ending is too tragic and depressing, as it shows that Eren’s plan to end the cycle of hatred and violence failed, and that the world is still divided and hostile. Some fans may feel that the ending does not offer enough hope or redemption for the characters and the world, and that it undermines the sacrifices and struggles that they have endured throughout the series.

3. The ending is too inconsistent and contradictory, as it shows that Eren’s actions and motivations were not clear or coherent, and that he did not have a clear goal or vision for the future. Some fans may feel that the ending does not make sense or justify Eren’s character development and transformation, and that it contradicts his previous statements and beliefs.
