1. Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 234 Recap:

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 234 was an intense battle between Gojo and Sukuna, with Yuta wanting to join the fight but being stopped due to the potential risks. Gojo was pushed around in this fight, as it was a three-on-one. He concluded that using Hollow Technique: Purple is the only way he can deal with what is in front of him.

Gojo took a barrage of attacks from all three of his enemies and Agito delivered a powerful blow to his face. However, that is precisely where his counterattack finally began and things took an exciting turn once again. Gojo used Maximum Output Blue and created a powerful attack strong enough to one-shot Agito. Thankfully for Sukuna and Mahoraga, the attack did not land and they survived. Towards the end of JJK chapter 234, the narrator chimes in and reveals that in 41 seconds, Gojo will scar Shinjuku with his powerful Hollow Technique: Purple.

Sukuna was impressed with Mahoraga’s power, as it managed to cut off Gojo’s right arm above the elbow. Gojo was then seen taking quite some beating from them, and overall, things certainly do not look good for him at the moment. However, Gojo had a hidden surprise ready for Agito, and unleashed Blue: Maximum Output. As the chapter comes to a close, Agito seems completely crushed by the attack, and the narration states that 41 seconds have passed after the attack, and Gojo’s Purple has ripped through the battlefield in Shinjuku.

2. Here’s Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 235:

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 235 saw the conclusion of the epic battle between Gojo Satoru and Ryomen Sukuna. The chapter began with Gojo completely regenerating his right hand and Agito being knocked out. Gojo then used his Black Flash attack to hit Mahoraga, which made Sukuna nervous for the first time in a thousand years. Gojo then threw Sukuna towards Mahoraga and hit them both with his fourth Black Flash. Mahoraga attempted to protect Sukuna, but was thrown away due to the force.

Gojo then began to chant his next attack, which Sukuna correctly identified as Cursed Technique Reversal: RED. He ordered Mahoraga to intercept the attack and complete its adaptation, but Gojo sent it upward instead. Sensing something was wrong, Sukuna screamed for Mahoraga to act quickly, but it was too late. Gojo then reinforced the strength of the Lapse: Blue with a new chant, negating the effects of Sukuna’s attack.

Gojo then finished his chant for Hollow: Purple, which blasted away everything in its vicinity, including Mahoraga’s wheel and Gojo himself. The aftermath showed the destroyed parts of the city and Sukuna in a severely battered state with a missing left arm. Gojo, however, was completely unharmed due to his own Cursed Technique.

Kusakabe pointed out that Sukuna was now without Mahoraga and any considerable Reversed Cursed Technique output, and thus unable to heal himself or use Domain Amplification to save himself from Gojo’s attacks. The editor’s note at the end of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 235 declared that Satoru Gojo had won the Battle of the Strongest, bringing the Shinjuku Showdown arc to a close.
