1.Chapter 6 Recap:

In the previous chapter, we saw Shikamaru, who was serving as the provisional Hokage, dealing with the elders of the Hidden Leaf Village. The elders were insistent on Boruto’s elimination due to his attack on Kawaki. This was a tense situation, as Boruto is the son of the Seventh Hokage and a beloved member of the village. Meanwhile, Boruto returned to the village and had a reunion with Sarada and Sumire. However, their conversation was interrupted by Mitsuki who arrived with the intention to fight Boruto. Shikamaru was speaking to Boruto through Ino’s jutsu, trying to learn the truth behind Boruto and Kawaki’s identities.

The fight between Boruto and Mitsuki was the highlight of Chapter 7. Mitsuki, who considered Kawaki as his ‘Sun’, was determined to avenge him. He attacked Boruto with his snakes, but Boruto managed to dodge them using the Flying Raijin jutsu. Mitsuki made clones of himself while being in Sage Mode, but Boruto defeated all of them using his swordsmanship. Eventually, Boruto used a Lightning Release Jutsu to attack the real Mitsuki. As Mitsuki’s vision was impaired by the smoke, Boruto closed in on him, placing his katana next to Mitsuki’s neck. And Boruto wins the match.

During their conversation, Boruto revealed the secret behind Eida’s Omnipotence and how it switched his and Kawaki’s positions. However, Boruto mentioned that sharing such information was useless because it was in the nature of the Omnipotence ability to be forgotten by its victims. Hence, Shikamaru was going to forget all about it.

Mitsuki asks Boruto what happened to the 7th hokage, and Boruto replies, “He’s safe,” and her mother (Hinata) is also safe. With that news, Mitsuki, Ino, and Shikamaru get shocked.

4.Mitsuki Realization:

Mitsuki had a moment of realization during the fight. He had considered Kawaki as his ‘Sun’, the one who made him feel alive. However, during the fight, Boruto told Mitsuki that his snakes had not attacked him yet because he was actually his ‘Sun’. This was a very confusing moment for Mitsuki, but a very important one. Boruto eased Mitsuki by telling him that he has no intention of killing him or Kawaki and that Naruto and Hinata are alive and safe. Plus, Bortuo tells Mitsuki that if Mitsuki ever gets confused or gets into trouble, then Mitsuki can reach out to Boruto.

This chapter was a rollercoaster of emotions and action, leaving the readers on the edge of their seats. The fight between Boruto and Mitsuki was intense and showed the depth of their friendship and rivalry. The conversation between Shikamaru and Boruto revealed more about the mysterious Omnipotence ability and its effects.
