1.What Is DCEU ?

DCEU Full form is Detactive Comics Extended Universe which was previously created by WB Studio and Zack Snyder. Which was destroyed by the studio itself. The DCEU contains 15 movies and 1 series. It includes big movies such as Batman VS Superman : Dawn of Justice and Zack Snyder’s Justice league. Later on WB Studio was brought by Discovery and WB Studio changed into WBD Studio. After this new changes the New President of DCEU is none other than James Gunn who also directed best movies like Guardians Of The Galaxy and The Suicide Squad Movie and a series Peacemaker. And now James gunn changes The DCEU into DCU.

2.The New DCU ?

In February 2023, James Gunn Reveal New DC Slate Called Chapter 1 : Gods And Monsters. In chapter 1, He revealed The first five movies of the slate are Superman: Legacy (2025), The Authority, The Brave and the Bold, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, and Swamp Thing. As for the series, fans can look forward to Creature Commandos, Waller, Lanterns, Paradise Lost, and Booster Gold.  He said in twitter that it is ‘Less Than Half OF Chapter’. There Are chances that new DCU can conquer Marvel. And Another Non-cannon Movies And Series Will Goes to Elseworlds.

So,James Gunn Really believes that The New DCU will give The comic book adaptation the fans want.

3. What is MCU?

Marvel’s Live adaptation is called MCU(Marvel Cinematic Universe). it includes 32 Movies are 11 are in development and 12 TV series.It is the highest-grossing film franchise of all time, having grossed over $29.6 billion at the global box office.

Marvel introduced many characters in their live action such as Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Whole Guardians Of The Galaxy And Avengers and Most popular SpiderMan.

2.Character Development:

In terms of character development The great example is Iron Man. Iron Man Has Great Character Development Through Whole Journey. How A Misbehaved Big Billionaire man Gave sacrifice himself for the humanity in Avengers:Endgame. Also, One example is Thor.

Thor was first introduced as Overconfident Character then become unworthy then again become worthy by because he wanted to protect others. but lost his brothers in Thor 2 he lost his mother And Thor Ragnarok He lost his father and his home as well and in Infinity War he lost his brother but still He has smile on his face and after endgame and Thor : love and thunder he has a kid now with his Journey.

Now DC have Best Characters and Most popular is Batman and Superman as well as wonder woman, cyborg, flash, Green lantern etc.

2.Character Development :

Note that The Dark Knight Trilogy is not part of DCEU.

Now personally I am DC Fan but in live action DCEU has right now no character development because of studio mess and reboot again and again. but there are few developments like after BvS batman keeps his promise by building Justice league in ZSJL(Zack Snyder’s Justice League) And Aso Cyborg how he accept his cyborg form and The Flash Also that how he uses his power correctly.

So This Point Goes To Marvel.

4.Comic Books :

1.Marvel :

Now in comic books i have to say that Marvel is behind than DC because DC has largest fan following in comics Batman is the second largest selling comic book in all over world. but marvel has also great comic books also like the secret wars, skrull invasion and x-men and spiderman’s comic books

2. DC :

Now As i said before, DC has greatest comic book of all time. Like Injustice, Justice league Dark Metal And Frank Millar’s The Dark Knight Returns and superman legacy

so yeah, This Point is Goes To DC.

5. Animated Movies And Series :

Now DC has Tons of Animated Series and Movies like justice league animated series and justice league movies plus other individual characters movies and series. while Marvel have only Ultimate SpiderMan, Spectacular SpiderMan And Marvel’s Avengers Assemble.

Also, DC has whole Animated Universe Called DCAU.

6.Games :

Now in video games the dc conquers the marvel. DC has Injustice 1 and 2 and also Batman Arkham series. And there will be New Suicide Squad game where the main villains will be none other then Justice league.
